With the Pixel 3 XL, Google appears to have fixed many of the issues that plagued the Pixel 2 XL, such as the blue tint and black smear problems with the display. The most glaring fault, if you want to call it that, is the addition of an unusually large notch. Thankfully, you can hide it via the settings, and it does serve a purpose: it houses one of the front-firing stereo speakers and two front-facing cameras. Some other specs of the Pixel 3 XL include a Snapdragon 845 processor with 4GB of RAM, 6.3-inch OLED display, 12MP rear camera, 3430mAh battery, and pure Android 9.0 Pie. How do you like the Pixel 3 XL?

  1. Tech "enthusiasts" make me laugh. This year we're "outraged" by the "notch." Last year it was "bezels." We really are the worst humans who ever lived. Amazing technology wasted on the most undeserving people.

  2. One reason I stopped watching phone dog videos is because of the constant change of people doing them I started with Noah and I think there's been six people since him bring back the kravmaster

  3. Upgraded from Nexus 6P. Wanted better battery life ,better camera, better responsiveness.
Pixel 3 XL much more responsive than Nexus 6p. Camera is better. Screen is sharp. Battery gets you thru typical day-web surfacing, email <10 min. video. Build quality is excellent. Not as "slippery" as Nexus 6P.
Notch is nonissue to me. Why would you complain about something that is smaller than a typical bezel?
    Speakers are great.
Magnifying glass for text editing is nice addition.
I had no problem with gestures. Very intuitive and "card view" of apps is nice.
Came with $50 Google Store credit, and headphones, adapters-as noted in video.
People compare with OnePlus but good luck with support form OnePlus.. Yes, you are paying for Google support.

  4. Notch isn't actually bad in person but you can hide it with Nacho Notch app, it gives you your status display but with a black background so you don't see the notch. It's what Google should have done in the first place.
