I just got myself an open box gold xs Max 256gb for $500.Still had the original protector film. I had an iPhone 7 32gb. I couldn’t be happier
My XS Max generally scores a tad higher in benchmarks than the SE 2020. SE has one less GB of RAM, so I think Apple will end up discontinuing support at same time. Probably for all A12-A13 devices same time, just like A8-A9 being dropped same time on iOS12

Smaller is faster thanks to 1) new chip and 2) smaller resolution 🙂 Try it on ur pc, run game with 2048x something and than 800×600 and you will see huge difference 🙂 But both devices are quite nice!

I'm a little confused because the new iPhone SE will update for about 4 years and the Iphone xs max will stop updating in a year or two years
Bigger isn’t always better. I have the OPTION of buying a friends old XS Max, but I might buy the SE 2nd gen anyways, since it is smaller and a little newer.
