The iPhone XR has a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina display, 12MP camera, A12 Bionic processor and amazing battery life. Plus, it shoots 4K60p video, is water resistant, has wireless charging and feels like a premium phone (it is). The only big feature it’s missing is 3D Touch. Should you buy the iPhone XR for $749 or pay the extra $250 for the iPhone XS?

  1. To me the deal breakers are the screen (I just want the satisfaction of OLED and deep blacks on a brand new iPhone), 3D Touch, the second tear camera for true portrait mode and those bezels.

The battery is incredible, it’s a really good size, it’s fast, but if I’m shedding that much money in the first place, I don’t want to compromise… I’d rather just save a bit longer and get the best. Just don’t want the 5C situation; ie after 1 year Apple disregards it because it wasn’t a flagship and becomes obsolete super fast

If this phone had an OLED screen I could look past the 1 camera and potentially 3D Touch.. but giving an OLED I can definitely tell a difference

  2. $250 less is more than enough imo, cos you could buy a lot of accessories for your Xr. And I would take the aluminium body over the stainless steel any day, just not a big fan, yeah it's more elegant, more vibrant, but it's just so easy to get scratch, so shiny, just not my kind of thing to be honest.

  3. GODS NOT DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you still need to accept Jesus Christ repeat these words; Lord Jesus I repent of my sins I make you my lord and savior come into my heart ! If you prayed that prayer you have been born again In Jesus Christ!! Get in a bible based church and keep God FIRST PLACE!!!

  4. I also am really gonna miss 3D Touch, especially once Apple wipes it away from all of its devices – and apparently that really is happening. 🙁

  5. I’m glad people aren’t ABSOLUTELY trashing the XR. 750$ for a phone that’s slightly waterproof on top of being more durable and facial id doesn’t get fooled by a picture of your face…. that’s a huge plus for absolute quality. No offense to the one plus users out there with your nicer screen and spent a couple less dollars upfront until your phone meets water

  6. The 2 reasons that are drawing me into trading in my iPhone X for this phone are battery life and cool colors. I like the OLED but it’s not that big of a deal for me.

  7. I’ve upgraded to this phone from a 6s and I love it, it’s better than what most people are making it out to be!

  8. In your opinion which phone would be the best phone to get right now would it be the iPhone XS Max,iPhone XR,Samsung Galaxy Note 9,or the OnePlus 6T? The reason why I am asking is because I am having a really hard time choosing what phone I should get as my next daily driver.

  9. I bought this phone today. I moved from an super AMOLED to the liquid retina. The first thing you’ll notice is that the videos and pictures look a tad bit different. You’ll realise this when you are on Facebook or Instagram. It wouldn’t matter but it is noticeable. It takes some time getting used to it. It’s fun using the phone though. You should really have an hands on experience at the apple store before buying.

  10. I’m just waiting to get the iPhone XS Max! But I’m waiting until I don’t got to put any money down. And if I have to wait until next year, then I’ll probably just get the new iPhone in 2019. 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️
