Apples ominous warning about the Jet Black iPhone 7 needing a case, left me very curious. Its time to test the new iPhone 7 color: Jet Black. What happens when the Super Glossy Jet black iPhone 7 comes up against every day objects like toothpicks, pennies, keys, and … obviously… razor blades.

Here is the exact warning left by Apple on their website:
“The high-gloss finish of the jet black iPhone 7 is achieved through a precision nine-step anodization and polishing process. Its surface is equally as hard as other anodized Apple products; however, its high shine may show fine micro-abrasions with use. If you are concerned about this, we suggest you use one of the many cases available to protect your iPhone.”

Are you going to use a case with your iPhone?

  1. I have the 7 plus in jet black and I love it. I always use a case but I hate it because it hides the beauty of the phone I just got the rhino shield mod case you had in one of your videos because of the attachable lenses for when I do time lapse videos of me doing body work I got the clear back but it doesn't do the phone justice do they make screen protectors like for the front but for the back? preferably glass not plastic

  2. I would recommend getting a product called kristall which is a liquid protector so u can use it on ur screen and the back of ur phone! U can check it out on amazon

  3. Y not just use ceramic……..Like the mi mix …..coz its super scratch proof …..and the only place where ceramic fails is the brittleness but come on!!! It’s an iphone(or an apple device) . It’s supposed to tear your pocket the first time it’s dropped ?
