LG G7 ThinQ released locally has 4 GB with 64 GB memory only. With hybrid sim tray, I can only use either an extra simcard (prepaid for data use) or an sd card. Why not all three at the same time thus saving me the effort to remove the tray to swap stuff?

This is the hack to accomplish that.

Warning: not all micro sim are the same! The chip inside, varies even if the card came from the same telco. So good luck on your fix.

  1. Looks interesting!
The same issue with the V30, it's a bit of a pants design, the V20, with a removable back, has dual sim and SD, probably no reason not to have a separate SD slot other than to shave a bit of cost off.

  2. I can't seem to get the sd and sim cards to stick together and get it inserted into the phone. They become un-stuck together and the sim card slips out when inserting.
