  1. $4000 for this and no DTS passthrough/decoding on all 2018 models. You need a separate media/bluray player to hear DTS on this TV. Good job Samsung! Next one to drop next year: optical out. I know you can do it!

  2. Last year's 2017 Samsung TVs looked totally disgusting completely oversaturated bad viewing angles very poor contrast ratio lots of light bleed I doubt things have changed that much despite localised dimming. Samsung qled TVs look totally unnatural…

  3. This is the first Samsung I'm considering since their last FN plasma set. I have two 4K sets from Sony and LG, looking to replace my old Samsung C8000 set in the bedroom. It will probably come down to this set at 55 inches, or Sony 900F at 55 inches. I've seen some videos where the Q9 appears to have a lot of DSE, this probably the first video where I didn't see it. Oh well, I'll see what's what come November.

  4. The picture quality is 90 % of what OLED is but without burn in issues and we know since it's LED the TV will last for years….QLED is the better buy right now IMO because OLED technology is still in its infancy with the kinks being worked out…In a few years I may go with OLED but right now QLED is perfect.
