The Pixel 3 recently launched alongside the new Pixel Slate and Google Home Hub. The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL come with upgraded internals and a camera that’s even better than last year’s Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Plus Google has also added a bunch of cool features like Topshot, Photobooth, Playgrounds (which is basically AR Stickers), and Super Res Zoom. So how good is the Pixel 3 camera, and does it beat the dual cameras on the iPhone XS? We pit the Pixel 3 XL vs iPhone XS camera to see which is the best camera phone right now.

  1. Extremely biased comparison…. Both phones camera are d best in their own way…. iPhone portrait mode n video are clear winner and pixel is d best in low light…. If u r giving a review or comparison then plz b genuine….

  2. In full video u only say pixel detail us better or either iPhone app is over sharpening the pictures if its details are better so u are not comparing simply for u pixel is better

  3. The picture at 6:37

The pixel completely forgot to blur out the right side of the picture.
Sad you didn't mentioned it for some reason.

In portrait shots too, pixel over blurred the background which looks unnatural (those who have used a DSLR and tried different lenses will understand).

Please try to give a more in-depth opinion other than just colour, noise and detail.

P.s I personally prefer the pixel pics too.

  4. I have to agree with some of the comments, that the review smacks of a clear bias towards the Pixel 3. I wonder if the review product was sent by Google, like it has done with many tech YouTubers.

The iPhone XS does have to catch up with the Pixel 3 in terms of still images, but the camera outshines the PIxel in terms of cinematic quality. Every tech reviewer has pointed out how the iPhone is vastly superior to the Pixel in that aspect.

To sum it up: the iPhone is catching up with the Pixel, not the other way around. The video quality on the Pixel is NOT at par with the iPhone. The footage provided is pretty unflattering, while I’m sure that the Pixel is being protected in this review.

I’m going to downvote this for sure. As a life-long Android user, I find it disappointing that tech reviews are becoming more opinion based pieces than factually correct observations. I’m sure Google/Android can stand up on its own without biased reviews that are surely hurting the Pixel’s image.
