The Xiaomi Redmi 4 India launch has further intensified the competition in the budget smartphone segment. Redmi 4 is a direct competitor of two Lenovo stalwarts – the Moto G5 and Lenovo K6 Power.

Xiaomi Redmi 4, whose first sale is on May 23, comes in three variants, but only the top model (price Rs. 10,999) competes with the Lenovo K6 Power and Moto G5. It has a 5-inch HD screen, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow-based MIUI 8 software, 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, up to 128GB microSD support, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, and 4100mAh battery.

Moto G5, priced at Rs. 11,999, is the only Android 7.0 Nougat smartphone of the lot, and sports a 5-inch full-HD display. Running on the 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 chipset, the smartphone has 3GB RAM and packs 16GB of internal storage, with support for expansion up to 128GB. Like the Redmi 4, it also has 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel selfie shooter, but its battery capacity is relatively low at 2800mAh.

Lenovo K6 Power is the most affordably priced of the lot at Rs. 9,999. It sports a 5-inch full-HD, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS, 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB built-in storage, and up to 128GB storage expansion support. The K6 Power has a 13-megapixel camera on the back, and has an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies. Its 4000mAh battery can be used to charge other smartphones too.

  1. Hi guys I believe the Lenovo k6 power is better than Moto g5 and redmi 4. In overall performance the k6 power slightly better.( camera, sound, ram speed, battery backup). definitely I prefer k6 power…

  2. the 3 smartphones hav almost same features.my opinions about those phones..
    #moto g5 plus#
    *price is high
    *look is average
*battery is not excusble at this price range

    #lenovo k6 power#
    cam good
    battery osum
    price is descent

    #redmi 4#
    excellent cam
    wonderful battery
cute design and light weight and slim
and more over the price is less compared to others and does not compromises with performance

    my final opinion….
    go with redmi 4
it got lots of miui features like inbuilt applock, childmode, one handed use, data saver, battery saver, cleaner, booster, and lot more

  3. according to my thinking redmi 4 is overall superb with snap435 battery back up is good game respond excellent & the best thing i like about redmi 4 is sound quality 5/5 just nailed it

  4. i am using k6 power, dolby atmos dual speakers are very good battery life is best around 9 to 9:30 hrs of screen on time and way better cameras compared to redmi 4 and moto g5. full hd display a bonus over redmi 4 and got nougat update too.

  5. Overheating issues since the Moto G4 generation. I see this is how Motorola chooses to go down in history… They went from "obvious recommendation" to "beware!".
